Jeremy Hasson

Jeremy Hasson is a writer, photographer, and social media creator from the Washington, D.C., area. He graduated from McDaniel College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Publishing and a minor in Journalism and New Media.

Jeremy loves to write impactful and meaningful stories that have a lasting impact on his readers. His senior capstone in college focused on the importance of having friends, or lack thereof, during the COVID-19 pandemic, which can be found in this website's “Writing Portfolio” section.

As a Photographer for McDaniel’s Athletic Department, Jeremy worked closely with many of McDaniel’s athletic personnel, including athletes, coaches, and administrative staff; in this position, his work was featured on many of McDaniel’s team accounts, as well as on ESPN.

In addition to sports photography, Jeremy loves doing portraits, as he can tell a story through the emotions of his subjects.

Jeremy is also a content creator on TikTok who posts videos about staying positive. With over 300,000+ followers, Jeremy has been noticed by and worked with huge brands such as Crocs and MyMochi. SPORTS

My sports photography has primarily been my experience as a student at McDaniel College. For three years, I worked closely with the Athletic Department in their communications wing and gained valuable photography work experience and experience working in college sports. I have always dreamed of working in sports, and college was my entryway into it. I have had a photo featured on ESPN’s Instagram during my time at McDaniel, and I have gained trust between coaches, staff, and athletes to capture their moments on the field. Since graduating in May 2024, I have visited McDaniel to photograph select games to give back to a part of a school that meant so much to me.

Portraits

I have always been fascinated with human emotion. I love capturing candid and pure moments because these are the moments that truly tell a story. Whether it is capturing body movement in portraits, a champagne pop for graduation photos, or posed event photography, I want the people who see my images to live through them, or if the photo is of you, to relive the moments I capture from behind my lens.
